This mainly depends on the fire tube used and the desired burning time. As a rough guide:
- Classic fire tube: approx. 75 minutes burning time with approx. 1 kg of pellets
- Premium fire tube: approx. 90 minutes of burning time with approx. 2 kg of pellets
With a 3.5 kg starter pack, up to 4 fillings are possible, depending on the model and filling quantity.
Place the specified amount of pellets for your model in the pellet chute. Make sure to fill the pellets loosely and not to compact them too much so that they can burn evenly.
A small shovel is recommended for clean and quick filling. Our care & accessory set for the Classic fire tube includes a suitable shovel for conveniently dosing and filling the pellets.
Wood pellets should be stored in a dry place and protected from moisture. Otherwise they can absorb water and lose their burning properties.
Storage in a closed cardboard box or an airtight container in a dry place is ideal.
Yes, wood pellets are also suitable for Table fire, pellet stoves or other outdoor fireplaces that can be operated with pellets.
